People Meeting God
The father said to his servants, ‘Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let’s have a feast and celebrate. For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ (from Luke 15)
We begin from 7.45 pm with coffee and cakes. Around 8 pm a short video DVD introduces the topic for the evening. With a helpful booklet and plenty of time for everybody’s questions we finish by 9.15 pm.
“We are punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong.”
Then the thief said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.”
Jesus answered him, “I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise.”
